YMCA Partners with BU’s Mass Communication Students to Help Fund the Youth Development Center
Bloomsburg, PA — Bloomsburg University’s PR Cases and Problems class conducted by Dr. Ganahl will help raise funds for the local YMCA. The funds will go towards complying with town safety policy and adding a second egress to the top floor of the Youth Development Center. Their goal is to raise at least $1,500 through various fundraisers.
The class is holding a volleyball tournament in order to raise money for this project. They would like to involve the town of Bloomsburg as well as the BU students in this tournament.
The tournament will be held on Friday, Nov. 13. Teams will consist of five players and the cost will be $10 per team. All of the proceeds will go directly to the Bloomsburg YMCA’s Youth Development Center. Come out and participate in a good cause and enjoy a fun and friendly competition!
