VS Fashion Show 2015 Update: Rihanna Cancels and New Angels Added
In October, Victoria’s Secret announced their all-star line-up of performances for the ever anticipated 2015 VS Fashion Show. However, there’s been a sudden change in the line-up. Originally Rihanna was set to perform along with Selena Gomez and The Weeknd, but Ellie Goulding is now taking Rihanna’s spot.

Supposedly, Rihanna dropped out to work on her album, Anti, which as of now has no release date, but we can assume it will be soon considering she’s given up her slot in the VS Fashion Show for it. So, if you’re really bummed about her cancelling her VS performance, you can at least look forward to her upcoming album dropping.
Her cancelation came as a shock considering so many were excited for her return to the catwalk (she also performed in 2012). And come on, who just gives up the VS Fashion Show? While fans are upset, Victoria’s Secret is not fretting. They quickly replaced Rihanna with Ellie Goulding, who will be taking the stage promoting her third album, Delirium. Goulding’s hits “Anything Could Happen” and “On My Mind” will definitely bring energy to the gorgeous Angels’ struts when the show is aired Dec. 8.
But, if that doesn’t cheer you up, Victoria’s Secret has also added two new models to their list of Angels that are sure to excite you. Best friends, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner will be conquering the VS catwalk this year. The two have been on fire this year, so it only seems appropriate they finish out the year walking as Angels.

The two were overwhelmed and thrilled to be added to the list of exclusive models walking in the annual fashion show. Hadid posted an adorable picture on Instagram of her crying (happy tears, of course) and tweeted upon hearing the great news. Jenner found out on her birthday, Nov. 3, and also took to Instagram and Twitter to express her gratitude and excitement.

The VS Fashion show always seems to be more amazing year after year and 2015 will be no exception. Tune in Dec. 8 to check out the killer musical performances, stunning VS Angels (veterans and rookies) and most importantly, this year’s Fantasy Bra, modeled by the beautiful Lily Aldridge.
