Students with marketable ideas and the desire to start their own business are invited to enter the Greater Susquehanna Keystone Innovation Zone’s Venture Plan Contest. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three entrepreneurs-to-be from Bloomsburg, Bucknell and Susquehanna Universities.

Entrepreneurship Program

Bloomsburg University students interested in learning how to transform their marketable idea into a successful business are invited to attend LaunchPad on Thursday, January 20th, 2011, from 6:30 to 8pm. in McCormick Center, room 1303.

Three alumni entrepreneurs will talk about the successful businesses they created, and Kelly O’ Brien Gavin, director of the Greater Susquehanna Keystone Innovation Zone, will explain support available through the Keystone Innovation Zone. Students can receive feedback on their marketable ideas and network with professionals and other potential entrepreneurs.

The Program, sponsored by BU’s Corporate Education and Colleges of Liberal Arts and Science and Technology, is open to students in all majors.
