Kidsburg 2.0, a volunteer community group operating under the non-profit 501(c)(3) status of the Bloomsburg Town Park Improvement Association, is hosting two upcoming events for students and members of the surrounding communities to volunteer, get involved in, or attend and support to help raise money for Kidsburg, the new children’s playground planned to be built spring 2014.
Whack-A-Night for Kidsburg
Saturday, Oct. 19 10a.m.-1p.m.
Come step back in time with the Shire of Malta/Adrian Empire! Demonstrations will be given of combat, basket weaving and food sampling from the Medieval and Renaissance eras at the Bloomsburg Town Park. All proceeds will go to the rebuild of the Children’s Playground.

Danville Pumpkin Palooza

g will be collecting all types of old clothing to prepare for this event. Any donations can be dropped off at the Kidsburg bin at either the Agape or The Children’s Museum in Bloomsburg by Oct. 20.
Looms bracelets will also be sold at the Kidsburg Booth. These bracelets can also be donated to Kidsburg to be sold at events.
