What to Wear To a BU Football Game

Attending a football game is one key part of the “college experience.” Even if you are not really into the sport, a football game can be a great place to get together with friends and showcase your school spirit. Dressing for any sporting event can be a bit tricky, especially when it’s outdoors. You need to search your closet for something that shows off your school spirit but still looks fashionable and keeps you warm on the stands! University t-shirts and hoodies are fairly popular amongst most students but a boxy t-shirt flatters no one! Read on for tips to help you support our school in STYLE!

Tips on What to Wear:

Purchase separates in your school colors. The colors of our school are maroon and gold. While shopping look around for a maroon cardigan, gold/mustard yellow skinny jeans, maroon and gold tops or even shirts that have a hint of our school colors in them. This way you can wear different looks to various Huskies events and don’t have to result to that one BU shirt you have.
Look for themed accessories. Animal-themed jewelry has been very popular, so it shouldn’t be too hard nor that expensive to pick up a ring, necklace, or bangle that shows your school spirit.
Look for “fashionable” school attire. Even though our school doesn’t have a collegiate collection in Victoria’s Secret PINK, or Brooks Brothers we can still make our BU Book Store attire look fashionable. Throw on a plaid shirt over your BU t-shirt with a pair of jeans and some moccasins to add some pizazz!
