Top Spring 2011 Trends!

SPRING HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!

So that means it’s time to be fun, vibrant and festive with your outfits. Yes the weather hasn’t really caught up with the season change, but that gives us all just the right amount of time to build our spring wardrobes. If you plan on doing a little spring shopping after your spring cleaning, make sure you add at least one of these trendy pieces to your closet!

1. PLATFORM WEDGES
Spice up your wardrobe with 70’s inspired platform wedges! With a variety of styles (such as espadrilles, ankle straps, or wedge booties) these flirtatious yet easy to walk in heels can go with just about any outfit. So trade in your winter boots for some wedges!

2. COLOR BLOCKING
Spring 2011 runway was full of color blocking! Try to accomplish this look by mixing and matching two or three vibrant colors. Wear bold colors and pair them with contrasting colors to achieve a color-blocked look. If you are not sure how to mix and match colors, look for already color-blocked shirts and dresses.

3. CHAMBRAY
This causal denim fabric was around all year in 2010 and is back for this spring! Chambray is now showing up everywhere; accessories, dresses and even shoes. Chambray shirts are very stylist and comfortable! Pair the shirt with a pencil skirt and/or tights and some wedges.

4. BOLD ACCESSORIES
Bold accessories are great for any season but seem to be a bit more exciting in the spring time! Add some flare to any outfit with big necklaces, rings, and even fun colorful watches.

5. SOFT/ LIGHT MAKEUP
This spring we are encouraging all ladies to go easy on the makeup! The look for this spring is fresh, pretty and natural. Definitely to play with pinks, oranges and neutral tones but the trick is to find a color that best suites you.
