The Return of Clogs

Clogs are back! As with many trends, the man responsible is Chanel’s head designer Karl Lagerfeld. During Chanel’s Spring 2010 runway show clogs were revived with luxurious colors, patterns and high heels. With celebrities and models leading the way, clogs have since become and will stay the must-have footwear of the season.

Major brands offering hot clogs include Jimmy Choo, Miu Miu, Fendi and even Gucci. Fashion forward celebrities such as Alexa Chung, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Rachel Bilson have been spotted wearing them with dresses, leggings, and even skinny jeans. For you, the options are endless! While clogs were a staple back in the hippie era, the modern version is less bohemian and more rock & roll. We suggest pairing your clogs with boyfriend jeans, shorts and even tights. The key to fashion is making the style your own!
