It is official; Kylie Jenner is the newest face of PUMA. The reality star has teamed up with PUMA for the spring/summer 2016 campaign despite brother-in-law Kanye West’s allocations that it would split the family apart if Jenner collaborated with PUMA, being that the Kardashian/Jenner’s are a “Yeezy family.”
Back in February, West had tweeted, “1000% there will never be a Kylie PUMA anything. That’s on my family! 1000% Kylie is on Yeezy team!!!” and “PUMA we gone give you your measly million dollars back!!! Never try to divide the family!!!”
However, Jenner released the first image of the campaign on Instagram last week, promoting the sneaker PUMA Fierce. This all black “lightweight trainer with zero excuses” will be released on April 1 and sold on PUMA.com and at PUMA retail stores and selected other retailers worldwide.
Another face of PUMA is singer, Rihanna. Rihanna serves as the company’s global brand ambassador for women’s training and as PUMA Women’s Creative Director.
PUMA believes that Rihanna embodies what the brand stands for. She has “unstoppable spirit and creative energy” and is a “prowess both on and off the stage.”
Rihanna’s position in PUMA allows her to work with PUMA’s Internal Product Creation Team and design and customize existing PUMA styles as well as creating new styles.
