Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s Surprise Wedding!
Johnny Depp is officially married to Amber Heard! The Pirates of the Caribbean actor tied the knot last week with the Friday Night Lights actress in Depp’s Los Angeles home. Depp is 51 years old and Heard is 28 years old. The surprise nuptial occurred a few days before a celebration that took place on Depp’s 45-acre private island located in the Bahamas this past Saturday.
Last year, Depp described his wife on NBC’s Today show as, “a Southern belle and sweet as can be, and very good for me.”
The couple met each other in 2010 on the movie set of The Rum Diary. They eventually began dating in 2012 after Depp decided to end a 14-year relationship with Vanessa Paradis, who he has two children with. Lily-Rose, his daughter, is 15 years old and Jack, his son, is 12 years old. Depp and Heard got engaged last January. This is Heard’s first marriage and Depp’s second marriage; Heard dated photographer Tasya van Ree for about four years while Depp ended his first marriage with Lori Anne Allison in 1985.
