Blood Drive vs. Lock Haven
The American Red Cross is back again for another Blood Drive, but with a new twist with some pressure to get your blood really pumping. Bloomsburg University is competing against Lock Haven to see who can donate the most blood. It will be held form 1p.m. to 7p.m. on Feb. 19 and 20 in Kehr Union Ballroom. donating once can save up to three lives. If you can’t donate but still want to help, you can volunteer to help with registration or providing snacks. D.A.S.L. (Developing Ambitious Student Leaders) can even provide you with paperwork to make it count as community service hours. Call 1-800-733-2767 or got to www.redcross.org, to schedule an appointment. If you’re a commitment-phobe, you can just show up on either day and wait in line for on-site sign-ups.
