APSCUF, PASSHE Clash on Twitter

As of 5 a.m. this morning, APSCUF, the governing body of Pa. state university faculty, has been on strike after multiple failed attempts to settle a new contract with PASSHE, the state school system. The two sides were locked in negotiations last night in a last ditch effort to avoid the strike, but to no avail. Once talks were over, it seemed that both sides weren’t done feuding when “shots were fired” via Twitter. Take a look:
State System: "Here's our last best offer." Translation = We want you to go on strike.

Even APSCUF’s President got into the mix after Pa. Governor Tom Wolf tweeted about the strike:
Just tell us where and when, and @APSCUF will return to the table. We stayed even after @statesystem folks said they were done talking. https://t.co/3YtHvhUrKA

No one knows how long the strike could last but APSCUF is clearly standing its ground and urging the state system to negotiate a new, fair contract for all faculty members.
