Abandoned Children Found in Shed

An investigation has been opened in Portland, Ore. upon finding three young children abandoned in a shed behind a vacant house. The parents of the three children- a boy of approximately 3 years old, a girl approximately 2 years old, and an infant guessed to be between 8 and 15 months, are yet to be found and held accountable.
Police were called onto the premises after a call from a man at about 9:30 a.m. who reported he was hearing voices from a shed behind his house. Authorities then escorted the children out of the shed, provided them with stuffed animals, and medically examined them.
The children appear to be healthy, with the eldest two children both weighing 28 pounds and the infant weighing 15 pounds. They all have olive toned skin, dark hair, brown eyes, and were wearing coats and backpacks. Police Lt. Robert King reports that the children are currently in care of the State Department of Human Services.
Authorities are asking anyone that can identify the children or come forward with information to do so by contacting the the 24 hour DHS Child Abuse Hotline at 1-503-731-3100. Authorities have already gained a small lead in the investigation because of information given to a tip line, and from accounts by neighbors and homeless people that were on the premises.
