Last week, Apple released the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in all its glory and new updates. However, they simultaneously unleashed a plague upon many by involuntarily downloading U2’s latest surprise album titled, “Songs of Innocence.” These 10 free songs had many users up in arms with some people claiming that they were being “spammed”. Others just absolutely despise this Irish rock band.
Naturally, IPhone users took to twitter and posted their feelings on the situation. One political blogger, Seth Masket, tweeted in response to all those who were complaining.
In the end this publicity stunt only ended with chaos and Apple spending around a hundred millions dollars. Don’t worry though, Apple has released instructions on how you can “cleanse” your phone of this unwanted album.
