Tom Hanks’ Drink Of Choice Takes Over The Internet
American actor and filmmaker, Tom Hanks, shared his interesting, preferred drink of choice Jan. 10, on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The Forrest Gump star calls this beverage “Diet Cokagne”. The two simple ingredients to make up this beverage are Diet Coke and Champagne. Who would’ve thought of that?
Many have taken an interest in this concoction and have posted their reactions via TikTok, Instagram, and many other platforms. It has become a “TikTok trend” where many have taken it upon themselves to taste the drink. Many takers were surprised by how delicious the combination was. Some did not love the drink, but enjoyed the fun in trying.
Colbert bantered, “We have the Tom Collins, we have the Tom Hanks”. During their interview, Colbert and Hanks enjoyed this alcoholic drink. They opened a can of Diet Coke, poured it over ice, and then busted open a bottle of Champagne to follow on top.
Like the others, Colbert also appreciated the beverage. He stated the beverage is “strangely, strikingly, shamefully good.” Hanks said he doesn’t drink much but will occasionally sip on a Diet Coke due to Type 2 Diabetes.
What simpler solution than to simply spritz the glass with some bubbly? Haha. This two- ingredient drink is popping off the charts! There may be other choices like it, but Hanks followed through with yet another masterpiece.
