*PSA: This article pertains to the leggings specifically, as I have not purchased any of the shirts, dresses, etc.

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of controversy over the LuLaRoe clothing line. I feel as though the line has received more criticism than any of the other clothing lines.

  1. A lot of people’s complaints are about the Facebook groups for LuLaRoe that they keep getting added to. I have a simple solution for this, LEAVE THE GROUP. No one is forcing you to stay in the group, just simply unfollow or leave it.
  2. The other complaint is that they’re ugly. This complaint is invalid in my opinion. A lot of the designs are super cute. Maybe some of the designs are little excessive, or gaudy. The silver lining in this complaint is if you don’t like the fun leggings, don’t buy them or opt out for simpler leggings.
  3. The third complaint I hear is that they are too expensive. I’m not really sure where people buy their leggings if these are considered expensive. LuLaRoe leggings run for about $25. However, their “unicorn,” or rare leggings tend to be more expensive.

Active Basic Leggings at Garage are $29.95. (I’ve owned several of these leggings; within two months you can typically see right through them).

Victoria’s Secret offers a variety of leggings. Their Victoria Sport, “The Everywhere Leggings,” typically go for $39.50 (they just so happen to be on sale currently). I have never owned a pair of these leggings because to me, that price is insane.

If you want cheap leggings (meaning the price and the quality), you can shop at Forever 21 where their Classic Knit Leggings are sold for $3.90. Just know that everyone will most likely be able to see your undies through them.

Personally, I love LuLaRoe leggings. I received my first pair in October as a gift from my mom. The grey color is perfect and goes with just about everything.

My question to all of the LuLaRoe haters: HAVE YOU FELT THEM?! They are so incredibly soft. I am always so comfortable when I am wearing a pair. I also wear them more often than I should, and I have yet to notice any signs of them looking worn.

I also love how the patterned leggings can be worn with so many different tops. I have two patterned pairs, and I have at least three tops that can be worn with each pair.

All in all, stop hating on LuLaRoe unless you’ve genuinely given the clothing line a chance. I could not speak more highly of the quality of the leggings along with how comfortable they are.
