The Roaming Husky: Rusty Rail Brewing Company (Mifflinburg,PA)
If you’re in the search for craft beer, then head on over to the Rusty Rail Brewing Company in Mifflinburg, PA. The brewery is truly a gem of the Susquehanna Valley and is an hour from Bloomsburg University. The brewery is near the end of the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail.
The food at Rusty Rail is out of this world. The main dining area and the game room have different menus but the same great taste. The brewpub offers a delicious brunch featuring a Bloody Mary and mimosa flights. My favorite dish to order from the menu is the sweet and spicy burger with a crisp glass of the Blue Collar Blonde.
Don’t want to sit in the main dining area? Venture on up to the second floor and enjoy the game area, which features two pool tables, shuffleboard, and classic arcade games. If you’re thirsty while up at the game room, no need to fear, the game area has a bar. And, if in the desire for some food, check out their menu, which features some pub fare.
Need to see some live music? Check the Rusty Rail events calendar. The stage is in the main dining area. Also, the brewery has wedding packages to make that special day an unforgettable one. Another great place to hang out with your friends and family is the fireplace pit area next to the parking lot.
