Don’t miss out on the largest community service project at Bloomsburg University! The Community Government Association is recruiting all Bloomsburg students and residents living in the town of Bloomsburg for the 5th annual Big Event. On Sat., March 29, hundreds of students will gather at the town park to go out to various residences, parks, and community areas in Bloomsburg to complete numerous tasks including raking, weeding, painting, window washing, and so much more.
The Big Event promotes campus and community unity as students come together for one day to express their gratitude for the support from the surrounding community. Last year’s Big Event had over 1,700 students volunteer at over 150 job sites. Students may sign up individually or as a small group of friends, club, organization, sorority, fraternity, or athletic team.
Join The Big Event in saying “thank you” by visiting a recruitment table in the lobby of Kehr, Student Services Center, and the University Bookstore by Fri., March 7.
