Many gathered around their televisions Thursday night to watch another year of the MTV Video Music Awards. Comedian Kevin Hart hosted the 2012 award show, leaving the crowd in stitches. Rihana opened the show with a mash-up of her songs “Cockiness” and “We Found Love”. Hart then entered the awards show as “the future president of the United States” with an entourage of little people. “What ya’ll don’t know is, MTV made a mistake,” Hart first tells the audience, “I told MTV I needed a little security. I think they took ‘a little” and they actually got me little security.” Taylor Swift closed this year’s award show out with a live remake of her new music video “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” In between the madness of the awards show, some amazing awards were handed out.
