The students went to school thinking it was just going to be a normal school day like all the others. Little did they know, a tragedy that would hit later that day.
A shooting took place in Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Marysville, Wash, wounding a 14-year-old girl, Gia Soriano, who later died on the night of Sunday Oct. 26. She is the third person killed by the shooting, according to Yahoo!
Jaylen Fryberg, the shooter and popular freshman, died from a self-inflicted wound.
Three other students remain hospitalized. Two are in critical condition and one is in serious condition.
This shooting will be added to the list of 29 other massive shootings since 1999, including the school shooting in Sandy Hook and the movie theater shooting during The Dark Knight.
