Come out and support your fellow Bloomsburg University students on Friday, April 17 for the Day of Silence. The event brings attention to anti-LGBT name calling, bullying, and harassment in schools.
Each year the event has grown, now with hundreds of thousands of students coming together to encourage schools and classmates to address the problem of anti-LGBT behavior. This year on campus, Scott Page, a guest speaker will be Breaking The Silence at 4 p.m. in the quad.
In order to participate, all one needs to do is remain silent throughout the day until 4 p.m. when the “silence is broken.” Cards with explanations of your silence will be given out Friday on campus.
