Sunday Style Icon: June Ambrose

In a world where your image is your first impression, we fully rely on stylists. Needless to say, very few stylists are able to dress you for both today and tomorrow. June Ambrose, the entertainment industry’s fashion angel, has proven that styling is much more than enjoying the thrill of shopping for your client… it’s about transformation, self confidence and trust. While dedicatedly working with A-list celebrities such as Jay Z, Will Smith and Sean “Diddy” Combs, a woman this busy has barely enough time to look fashionable for herself, right? Wrong. In her 6-inch Christian Louboutins and wide-frame sunglasses, June Ambrose has been consistent in accomplishing the sexy businesswoman look.

Walking the streets of NYC in a daring and completely fashion-forward ensemble is simply “her thing.” June stays true to her personal style by always adding an extravagant head piece. If you catch her without her infamous Birkin bag, it might not be the real June Ambrose.

Before entering the fashion industry, June’s first job was at an investment banking firm. Born for fashion and fashion only, she soon left to do what she loved. In 1990, June landed an internship with Uptown MCA Records, where she was randomly selected to style Sean “Diddy” Combs for the “Mo Money, Mo Problems” video. Yes, she was most certainly the mastermind behind those metallic suits. If they didn’t know her, they knew her now.
