NFL Draft: First Round Coverage
Each year at Radio City Music Hall in New York, college football’s best players gather at the NFL Draft in hopes of hearing their names called by an NFL team. The NFL draft is both an end, and a beginning. It symbolizes the end a player’s collegiate career, and the beginning their professional career among the best football players in the world. Instead of worrying about classes and exams, players will now solely focus on becoming the best football player that they can. This yearly ritual begins soon after the college football season ends, with mock drafts by football experts, and the NFL Combine. By draft day, fans, players and teams all have a general idea of where the players will go and which round they will go in. With that said, there are always trades and selections that surprise any and everyone. Here are the results from the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. The following rounds will take place Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27.
