L.A. Angels Land Albert Pujols and C.J. Wilson
The Angels commit roughly one-third of a billion dollars to arguably the top two free agents this offseason
The Los Angeles Angels have added two stars to their team for 2012. Albert Pujols, a three time National League MVP, has accepted a ten year, $250 million dollar contract, and C.J. Wilson, former Texas Rangers number one who was considered to be the top starting pitcher on the free agent market. Wilson accepted a five year deal worth $77.5 million.
Pujols, who left the St. Louis Cardinals, the 2011 World Series champions, and the only team he has played for during his monumental MLB career. Some consider Pujols to be the best player in the game today, and one day maybe the best of all 
time. Pujols won the Rookie of the Year award in 2001. He has a lifetime .328 batting average and has hit 445 home runs.
C.J. Wilson, on the other hand, left his former team, the Texas Rangers, who made it to the World Series each of the last two seasons, but lost both. Wilson was 16-7 with a 2.94 era last year with the Rangers, and made his only All-Star game.
