Jason Kelce To Retire From The Eagles

Jason Kelce, star center of the Philadelphia Eagles, retires after 13 with in the NFL after Monday’s playoff loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

At the age of 36, Jason Kelce decided to retire after Monday’s playoff loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Eagles had a 11-6 record on the season leading into to Monday’s wild card game. The Eagles lost with a devastating score, 32-9.

Kelce’s retirement has been rumored all season. Many thinking that last year after the Eagles lost to the Kansas City Chiefs Kelce would have retired. He decided to come this season, many speculating a retirement.

Kelce has a lot to be proud of when it comes to his career in the NFL. He spent all 13 of his seasons in the city of Philadelphia. His time with Philadelphia consisted of seven Pro Bowls, and six first- team All-Pro selections, and lastly the Super Bowl win in 2017. Among all of these accomplishments Kelce’s time in Philadelphia also consisted of getting married, and having three children. Kelce also played a big role in the city of brotherly love beyond the field. He also contributed to many fundraisers helping out the city he called home.

From his unforgettable Super Bowl speech, Jason Kelce will still be beloved by the city and fans of Philadelphia. His time with The Eagles will never be forgotten.
