Football: The men defeated Kutztown 31-12 on Saturday, Sept. 21. Senior running back, Franklyn Quiteh rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns, while redshirt sophomore wide receiver Connor Gades caught four passes for 57 yards and a touchdown. Graduate student Larry Webster recorded four sacks for a total of 28 yards on the defensive side of the ball for Bloomsburg. The Huskies’ next game is Saturday, Sept. 28 at home against Lock Haven. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

Women’s Soccer: The women lost to East Stroudsburg 2-1 in overtime on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Sophomore forward Ashley Sanchez scored the lone goal for the Huskies. Bloomsburg then lost 2-1 to West Chester on Saturday, Sept. 21. Freshman forward Jenna Fisher scored the only goal for the Huskies. The women’s next game will be Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Edinboro. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Men’s Soccer: The men defeated Chestnut Hill 2-0 on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Senior forward Fran Miller scored his second goal of the season, with sophomore midfielder Spencer Conrad getting the assist.  Freshman midfielder Derrick Orendorff scored his first career goal, coming off an assist from Anthony Manero. The Huskies then tied West Chester 0-0 on Saturday, Sept. 21. The men will be back in action Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 4 p.m. on the road at Queens College.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Field Hockey: The Women lost 3-2 to Slippery Rock on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Junior forward Felicia Domenici scored one of the Huskies goals, continuing her hot streak from last week. Also scoring for Bloomsburg was senior forward Brittany Mathews. Bloomsburg then defeated Mansfield 4-1 on Saturday, Sept. 21. Scoring for the Huskies were Felicia Domenici, Brittany Mathews, Samantha Facciolla and Nikki Black. Bloomsburg’s next game is Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Kutztown, with the game slated for a 7 p.m. start.
