Another Fall Classic: Cardinals vs. Rangers
The Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals will meet tonight at 8:05 p.m. (eastern) on Fox for game one of the World Series. For the Rangers this will be their second consecutive appearance in the fall classic. For the Cardinals it will be their first appearance in the World
Series since 2006 when they defeated the Detroit Tigers. C.J. Wilson will start tonight for the Rangers. He will be opposed by Chris Carpenter who is seeking his eighth career postseason win. The National Leagues win in this summers All-Star game will give the Cardinals home field advantage in the series.
