#1 LSU Defeats #2 Alabama 9-6 In Overtime

LSU defeated Alabama in overtime 9-6 Saturday Night

#1 LSU and #2 Alabama clashed last night on ABC in a matchup some were calling the game of the century. It was a game of field goals and defense. Both Alabama and LSU turned the ball over twice by way of interception. Neither team could find the end zone, as both defensive fronts were suffocating in the pass rush and run defense. Alabama star running back Trent Richardson only managed 89 yards on 23 carries averaging 3.9 yards/carry. LSU’s Drew Alleman was able  to hit all three of his field goal attempts including the game winner in overtime from 25 yards out. The Crimson Tide missed four field goals including a 49-yarder that was blocked in the second quarter. Vegas had Alabama favored by 4 ½ points in this powerhouse matchup.
