Heads up folks: the first sports-only video forum is now available for use by any and all sports fans. Sploops, created by Bloomsburg University graduates Paul Rosa and Sean Roth, has hit the App store. Sports fanatics with I-Phones can download the app for free and begin ranting about anything sports-related immediately.

“We were very excited when Apple approved our app so quickly,” said Rosa. “We only submitted a little over a week ago. Our development team did an excellent job getting it ready!”

Sploops, which was created by Rosa and Roth when they were juniors at Bloomsburg University, has taken off in recent months, thanks to a $115,000 investment that they secured.

Sploops allows sports fans to post video rants (Up to 15 seconds) from their mobile phones as they talk trash, cheer their team on or offer their opinion on almost any sports topic. Users will also have the ability to share content across social media networks and post polls. Sploops is the first of its kind when it comes to video sports forums.

“We have already received an enormous amount of positive feedback. Over 100 users signed up within the first few hours and were already posting some great content!”

With Sploops, you can create polls, post rants and cheer on/trash talk any and all teams.

As for the future, the duo of Rosa and Roth have more ideas in mind and can’t wait to make improvements.

Rosa stated, “We are looking forward to developing new features and we are already looking ahead to how we can improve Sploops in later versions.”

Download Sploops on the App Store today and start ranting! For more background about Sploops and its’ creators, check out Rosie Langello’s interview with them from last week.
