People are so into social media these days, and posting selfies regularly has become a kind of completion. So much so that many take it too far and it ends up costing them their lives. We must start to ask ourselves: is a selfie really worth losing your life over?  BuzzFeed says that Times of India reported three college students from India being killed on Jan. 26 at 9:30 a.m. after trying to take a “daredevil selfie” on the train tracks of Mathura, near Kosikala.

There was a fourth friend, Aneesh, who survived. He said that they were on a road trip to see the Taj Mahal in Agra, when they stopped the car to take the “daredevil selfie”

The speeding train took their lives before they had a chance to move.

This isn’t the first selfie that lead to death. According to abc News  on Aug. 11,, a polish couple died trying to take a selfie on a cliff in Portugal.

They fell hundreds of feet from a rocky cliff in Caba da Raca. Their kids witnessed it and have been receiving psychiatric care.

I believe that people need to be more careful when taking selfies. It’s nice to get a good background picture, but it’s really not worth your life. Think before you snap.
