As we get further and farther into fall, we get further into scarf season. Scarfs are the perfect accessory in the cold weather to complete an outfit.

Are you getting bored with the same old way you tie your scarf? There are tons of different ways to wear a scarf depending on the look someone is going for!

There are many variations of the simple wrap around the neck twice look that lets the ends of the scarf dangle. Here are five new simple ways to spice up how you tie your scarf!

1: How to tie a half- bow scarf

The first step is to loop the scarf around your neck and tie once– the same way you would start to tie your shoelaces. Next, take one side of the scarf and make one loop the same way you would make one loop with your shoelaces. Finally, take the longer section of the scarf and wrap it in front and then behind the entire scarf where you want it to lay on your neck and chest and fluff to taste!

2: How to tie a bow in a scarf

This is a very girly and cute look to go with any outfit that you are putting together! You will need an extra long scarf to pull off this look. Make sure the ends are even and then tie a bow in the scarf the same way you would a sneaker so that it lays on the middle of your chest.

3: How to braid a scarf

This sounds complicated but it is very simple and looks awesome! Just double up the scarf and wrap it around your neck. Then, take one end and thread it through the loop, rotate the loop, and then thread through the other end.

4: How to tie a Muffler scarf

This has to be one of my favorite looks. It looks like a waterfall of scarf coming from your neck. Take one end of a wide scarf and place it on your shoulder. Next, take one corner from the other end and make a little knot on one shoulder. Leave the last corner free to give the triangle look.

5: How to tie a layered knot scarf

This is a classy and pretty look that will compliment any outfit very well! Start by putting the scarf around your neck so that the ends hang over your back. Next, bring the ends back around to the front and loosen the section of scarf around your neck. Lastly, tie the dangling ends together and then pull the loop around your neck in front of the knot.
