Sandra Bullock Named People’s Most Beautiful Woman
Sandra Bullock doesn’t have a blind side according to People Magazine who named her “PEOPLE’S 2015 Most Beautiful Woman.” Bullock, 50, has been in award winning and fan favorite movies like The Proposal and The Blind Side.
When she was told of her new title, she told People, “That’s ridiculous.” Although, she doesn’t seem to see it, Bullock is beautiful on the outside as well as the inside.
In her interview she stated, “Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it’s just so hard not to say, ‘Oh, I need to look like that’. No, be a good person, be a good mum, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they’re in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren’t trying.”
During her career Bullock has dealt with many life-changing events in the spotlight like cheating scandals, divorce from motorcycle customizer Jesse James, and raising a child as a single parent, all of which make her more relatable than your average celebrity. As mother of 5-year-old son Louis, she asks herself questions all parents seem to struggle with like “am I good enough, working hard enough?”
Even though she laughs at this honor, she deserves it because she is a good role model and an actress who has made her impact on movies, such as Miss Congeniality, which is definitely a classic! The issue also spotlights 192 other beauties including Laverne Cox, Shay Mitchell, and Gigi Hadid.
