Russian President Vladimir Putin Celebrates His 63rd Birthday

How does the President of a country celebrate their birthday? If you’re Russian President Vladimir Putin, you
celebrate a 63rd birthday on the ice. Although this was after there were more airstrikes on Syria, an art display titled “Putin’s Universe” was revealed which depicts the leader as various heroes such as Batman, Gandhi and Muhammad Ali as stated by the Huffington Post.
Putin, the self proclaimed best hockey player in Russia, laced up his skates with a few professional ice hockey players. According to Time, the presidential team consisted of a few former professionals such as: Vyacheslav Fetisov, a former member of the New Jersey Devils and Detroit Red Wings, and Pavel Bure, a former Vancouver Canuck, Florida Panther and New York Ranger. Putin himself proved his greatness by scoring seven of his teams 15 goals, allowing his team to win 15-10. After his birthday game ended, he was awarded a trophy recognizing his big win, along with a medal to honor his contributions to Russian hockey.
Needless to say, Putin surely made it known that age is just a number, and that it won’t stop him from lacing up skates and taking slap shots anytime soon.
