One of Hollywood’s “it” couple’s relationship could be on the rocks. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s on again off again romance has seemed to hit a rough patch once again. Cyrus has been spotted numerous times within the last month lacking what should be her favorite accessory: her engagement ring.
After just over eight months of newly engaged bliss, the publicity that Hemsworth has received after his role in the film The Hunger Games could have Cyrus feeling a bit jealous. Rumors have been swirling about Hemsworth flirting at event after parties with women such as January Jones and Emma Watson. In Hemworth’s defense, Cyrus has been spending much of her time in the studio working on her new album.
Cyrus, 20, and Hemsworth, 23, met on the set of The Last Song which premiered in theaters in 2010. Since meeting the couple has been accused of breaking up and rekindling numerous times. However, Hemsworth and Cyrus brought the break up scandals to an end on May 31, 2012 when Hemsworth proposed with a 3.5 carat Neil Lane diamond ring. The young stars haven’t revealed any information on when they plan to wed.
Cyrus fired back at the newsstands via Twitter tweeting on March 6, “I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn’t call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining.” Her hiatus from Twitter didn’t last, and she has been tweeting almost daily from her account. Hemsworth, who seems to be the more private one of the duo hasn’t commented on the rumors of their split. Has Hemsworth reached the end of his patience for Cyrus’s endless hours in the studio or has Cyrus’s jealousy of Hemsworth’s new found fame made her reach her breaking point? Only time will reveal the true fate of one of Hollywood’s most popular couple.
