Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Debuts its First Trailer
Earlier today on Good Morning America, the first teaser trailer for the newest Star Wars movie was released to public eyes.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is a spinoff film from the original movies and will tell the tale of how a small band of Rebel Alliance forces acquired plans from the Empire about the infamous space station and superweapon, the Death Star.
The trailer gives us a glimpse of some familiar Star Wars technology like AT-AT walkers, X-Wing fighters, Stormtroopers, and the Death Star itself. There are also some new and mysterious things we see in the trailer as well. Some sort of samurai-like warrior, a wise-man looking character played by Forest Whitaker, some cool looking Stormtrooper armor, and even a possible hint at a Darth Vader appearance are all packed into the minute and a half long trailer.
Rogue One is set to hit theaters in December and I’m sure there will be more trailers to come as time goes on. The Star Wars cinematic universe is in for another promising film release. Check out the trailer below.
