Rapper Lil Wayne sparks attention when he endorses Donald Trump’s ‘Platinum Plan’

Rapper Lil Wayne created social media attention on Thursday by revealing that he had met President Donald Trump and backed Trump’s “Platinum Plan” to support Black Americans.

With only a few days left until Election Day, Lil Wayne has given Donald Trump a gigantic boost towards the 2020 election. Many were surprised by this odd duo, but Lil Wayne firmly believes that the community will receive “real ownership,” improved education and more jobs.

Lil Wayne stated in his tweet, “Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”

The Trump administration publicized its Black Economic Empowerment “Platinum Plan,” which was influenced in part by Ice Cube’s Contract With Black America.

The feedback from this is very controversial. Some critics support the rap star while others oppose it. Rapper 50 Cent, who “supported Trump” decided to tweet in referral to Wayne’s photo, “I would have never took this picture.” 50 Cent decided to wipe up the misconceptions made about him and distanced himself from Trump in an interview with Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday.” Ice Cube is not further endorsing Trump for the next four years, but he did provide assistance on this new plan. Many people had misconceptions about how and which Black entertainers supported Trump, especially about Kanye West and 50 Cent. Some people see it as a union of parties while some see it as if these Black entertainers are straying away from the Democratic community—both statements being not entirely true at all.

The “great meeting” between Trump and Lil Wayne was located at the Trump National Doral Miami resort. During the 2016 election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, Lil Wayne spoke of his support for Clinton. He endorsed Trump for this election. He did not necessarily indicate any information on who he is actually voting for.

Overall, people don’t know how to properly react to Lil Wayne’s post as it stirs up more and more controversy. Will this add support to Donald Trump or take some away?
