Philadelphia Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra comes to BU

Daniel Spalding, Music Director, conductor, and founder of the Philadelphia Virtuosi Chamber, is leading some of the finest musicians from the East Coast to our campus on Friday, Feb. 10.  The orchestra will be performing in the Mitrani Hall of the Haas Center for the Arts at 7:30p.m.  General admission is $34.50 for adults, $19.50 for children and $17 for students with a BU students with a student ID.

They will be performing popular pieces, an unusual and lesser known collection from around the world, and newly commissioned works.  This is all a part of their mission to redefine the 21st century classical music experience for audiences.

Their performance is partially supported thanks to the Pennsylvania Performing Artists on Tour (PennPAT), a program of the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.

So if you’re a fan of the Philadelphia Orchestra, or just interested in taking advantage of an affordable performance of classical music, come check them out.
