Sophomore Experiential Learning Program
Want to take part in the Sophomore Experiential Learning Program? The SEL Program is a 3-5 day (20-40 hour) workplace observation that lets the students learn about a potential career field by having the opportunity to shadow a professional in the workplace. Not only will they have the opportunity to shadow a professional, it is a great way to being making professional contacts to help advance their careers in the future. A host will be identified by the students on their own and are encouraged to contact a faculty member about professional contacts, or are able to choose from a list of alumni and organizations that are interested in hosting students. After the completion, the workplace experience will be recognized on the student’s academic transcript and later on will be part of their professional portfolio.
