Exspeedious: The Next Big Name in Deliveries

Have you ever been in a situation where you wanted something but didn’t have the means of transportation to get it? I’m sure we’ve all been there.

Lucky for you, there’s a new delivery service which will never leave you in a situation like that ever again. That service is Exspeedious.

Per their website, Exspeedious Deliveries “is the first college service of its kind; catering to students, faculty, and their local communities.” They deliver anything you’d need from food to cleaning supplies to even party supplies. If it’s able to be delivered then Exspeedious will have it at your front door.

Founder DJ Robinson along with co-founders Ben Moore and Tristian Williams all dreamt of Exspeedious becoming a reality and it’s become just that. The service has been growing and improving ever since its conception back in the fall of 2015. It started as a SqaureSpace website in which the trio took orders from a phone line then made the deliveries from there. From that point on Moore, Robinson, and Williams have been working hard to get the company into full gear. Their first big break came sooner than later.

In the fall of 2015, Robinson set up a meeting with a potential investor, Steph Pettit, whom he’d built a relationship with through his years on the University football team. Pettit is a well-respected Bloomsburg University alumnus and recently made a generous donation to the school to improve its stadium housing the field hockey, soccer, and women’s lacrosse teams. In return, the University named the stadium after Pettit. Robinson, Moore, Williams, and Pettit all met at Monty’s to discuss investments and came to an agreement. Pettit was in.

October arrived and the Exspeedious app began development. Currently, the app can be downloaded on the App Store as well as the Google Play Store. Check out some screenshots:

After the app took off it was time for a beta test to see if Exspeedious could really work. The results did not disappoint. Downloads hit the 300 mark and 150 deliveries were made in just two short weeks. Robinson was extremely pleased with the results saying, “Our drivers adapted quickly after just a few deliveries using the app and nothing meant more than seeing students pleased with that they have long been waiting for.”

With regards to deliveries, Exspeedious never stops. They deliver 24/7 and year round too. You won’t have to wait long for the delivery to arrive either. “A typical order takes 25 to 35 minutes depending on breakfast, lunch, and dinner traffic hours,” says Robinson. If you’re crunched for time then Exspeedious will have your back.

When all is said and done, Exspeedious is just getting started on where they want to be. Upon establishing a solid foundation with BU, they plan to expand to other PSAC schools as well. Whether you’re in a dorm, campus apartment, or even off campus, Exspeedious will deliver what you want whenever you want it. Now is only the beginning for the company and it’s only up from here.

You can follow Exspeedious on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as well as visit their website.
