Delicious Collaboration of PRSSA and PB&J Bar!

The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) hosted a table today from 11a.m. to 2p.m. in front of the Student Services Center to promote the PB&J Bar and give away free plant-based burger samples.

The Plant Based and Juice Bar, or PB&J Bar, is a restaurant located at 554 Mill St. in Danville, Pennsylvania. The bar is renowned for its vegan-friendly menu items at an affordable price. Christian Force and his fiancée, Shannon Koch, sell a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, dinner. They also sell many dessert options, as well as coffee, tea, juice and smoothies.

“Healthier, cheaper, tastier, and more convenient: it’s Unbeetable!,” a flyer found at PRSSA’s table read, alluding to PB&J’s famous vegan burger. Made primarily of beets, lentils, and chickpeas, the Unbeetable burger can be found in a number of sandwich recipes at the restaurant. It is available in both 4 and 6 ounces, and is respectively 25 and 37 grams of protein at 200-300 calories.
