Dance Ensemble presents fall showcase
As usual, the BU dance ensemble came to their fall showcase ready to amaze. The group’s stellar reputation on campus drew a large crowd to the Nelson Field House this past Sunday, Nov. 13.
Composed of 20 separate groups, the dance ensemble is the largest group on campus. Each group performed a small section of what they will show in their full recital in the spring. While this was not their actual performance, it could be said that the showcase serves as a “cliffhanger,” leaving the audience in anticipation for the rest of each number.
Annual audience favorites such as the African, Irish hard and modern groups all left little to be desired as far as talent goes. Other hip-hop, lyrical and tap also left the crowd in sheer amazement.
The tentative date for the spring recital is currently March 22, however this is subject to change before that date.
