Nicholas Sparks May Be Getting a Divorce But Here’s a Notebook Proposal Video To Make You Believe In Love Again

Sometimes fairy tales don’t come true and there isn’t always happy ending. Nicholas Sparks, the author that wrote some of the most romantic love stories ever like “The Notebook” and “Dear John” is getting a divorce from his wife Cathy after 25 years of marriage.
Sparks told ABC News in a statement saying, “This is of course not a decision we’ve made lightly. We remain close friends with deep respect for each other and love for our children. For our children’s sake, we regard this as a private matter.”
But don’t worry, love is still out there.
Angelo Piccini brings faith in romantic gestures by recreating the scene in “The Notebook” when Noah takes Allie on a ride on the boat surrounded by swans to propose to his girlfriend Chiara Grimaldi. According to Cosmopolitan, Piccini knew it was his girlfriend’s favorite film so he rented a private lake in North London’s Alexandra Palace and filled the lake with 1,000 origami swans.
The surprises kept coming as she was given flowers, then a woman played her favorite songs on the guitar, and some alcoholic beverages were involved. Then family members come out of the bushes with signs that say “You are the one” and “Chiara will you marry me.” He then goes on to say, “I’ve tried to recreate a dream for you. When we are together everything is possible.”
So even though the Sparks is getting a divorce, there can still be true love and a happy ending. Check out the video below.
