Gov. Wolf issues stay at home order to counties most affected by COVID-19, closes schools for an additional two weeks

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf has issued a stay at home order for Allegheny, Bucks, Chester, Monroe, Montgomery and Delaware counties, as well as the city of Philadelphia. The order is effective as of Monday, March 23 at 8 p.m. Wolf also mentioned that there will be no curfew for the counties under the order.

These are the counties that have been hit the hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic; Philadelphia, as of now, has the highest number of confirmed cases.

Governor Wolf also extended the state-wide school closures for another two weeks, through at least April 6.

The governor remarked that Pennsylvania has not had a disruption in its economy since the Civil War.
