Victoria Has A New Secret: Baby’s Body Found In Teen’s Bag
17-year-old girl caught with dead fetus in bag while shop lifting at a Victoria’s Secret in New York City.

Typically when you enter a Victoria’s Secret store you would expect to see bras, panties, and lingerie, but what about a fetus? Well, that is exactly what a security guard of the Victoria’s Secret located in Herald Square, New York found in the bag of a 17-year-old customer on Thursday, Oct. 18.
Investigators say that the mother of the child and her friend were acting suspiciously when the guard asked them what was in the bag. That is when they confessed that it contained human remains, a fetus that was delivered just the day before.
Police searched the home of the teen mom in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn to find possible answers as to why she would put the baby in a bag and carry it around.
The 17-year-old did not say a word when paramedics escorted her out of the store, but she looked visibly upset. The girls confessed to police that they were in fact shoplifting while trying to figure out what to do with the body. The girls were arrested for petty larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
The mother told authorities that she was six months pregnant when she had a miscarriage; the baby was almost full term. After the miscarriage she wrapped up the baby boy in clothing and stuck him in the bag.
She is currently at the Bellevue Hospital while her 17-year-old friend is in custody at the Midtown South Police Precinct.
According to ABC, the medical examiner’s office says the autopsy of the remains was inconclusive as to whether the baby boy was born dead or alive, but that it is pending further testing.
