Geisinger Career Center delays opening
Geisinger Health System now has a career center of its own in downtown Danville.
Geisinger has designed a work space for aspiring and current employees to prepare for opportunities within the health organization.
Geisinger seeks to fill numerous positions throughout the system with the aid of this career center. Nurses and environmental services workers are in high demand, and numerous other positions are waiting to be filled.
Not unlike Bloomsburg University’s Greenly Center, Geisinger’s Career Center also offers resume and cover letter workshops, mock interviews and general career guidance.
The career center initially planned a grand opening this March, but it is postponed due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) being of paramount concern, especially for the healthcare system.
When everything gets back to normal, it would be advisable to check out the center. Until then, their career web page is always available. The office is at 529 Mill Street, Danville and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
