Bloomsburg University students can now order tickets for Celebrity Artist series’ concerts online and give themselves the student discount using BU’s secure Intranet. Students can go to http://intranet.bloomu.edu, where they must log in to gain access to the student discount codes for Celebrity Artist series shows along with other information to facilitate ordering. A link to the CAS ticketing site is also provided.
Also new this season, Celebrity Artist series is offering the first ever Student Discount Day Wednesday, Sept. 9. Students can buy a ticket to shows in the 2015-2016 season lineup at an additional $5 off the already reduced student rate. These are cash only sales, and students must show their BU ID’s. This one-day-only sale is from noon – 7:00 p.m. at the Performing Arts Box Office located in the lobby of Haas Center for the Arts.
If you are not familiar with the celebrity artist series, the concerts are performed in the Mitrani Hall, Haas Center for the Arts, or the historic K.S. Gross Auditorium, Carver Hall, and have hosted hundreds of outstanding performances in its decades-long history. Acclaimed symphonies, opera, drama, comedy, world renowned dance companies, Tony award winning touring Broadway shows, Grammy winning solo performers in every genre and more…they’ve all been to Bloomsburg University and given their best.
The collective audience of BU students, guests and patrons from the surrounding area have all shared the experience of sitting in a darkened performance hall feeling the thrill of watching live entertainment by accomplished performers. Celebrity Artist Series has taught its patrons to expect quality and excellence in performances by talented artists in shows that are produced and presented at an exceptionally high level of professionalism in state-of-the-arts facilities.
