New Netflix show coming Oct. 27, ‘Blood of Zeus’
From the Castlevania creators, Powerhouse Animation Studios, season one of a new show called “Blood of Zeus” is to be released Oct. 27, 2020. The show is created by Charlie Parlapanides and Vlan Parlapanides.
The show is to fall under the genres of “Anime Series,” “Action Anime,” and “Fantasy Anime.” Castlevania creators are introducing an unfamiliar type of genre, “Greek Mythology Anime.” Castlevania and Greek mythology fans are very excited for this new show to come.
The official description of the show is:
In a brewing war between the gods of Olympus and the titans, Heron, a commoner living on the outskirts of ancient Greece, becomes mankind’s best hope of surviving an evil demon army, when he discovers the secrets of his past.
A simpler description is on Netflix which gives more detail to the understanding of the show. The description on Netflix states, “A commoner living in Ancient Greece, Heron discovers his true heritage as the son of Zeus, and his purpose: to save the world from a demonic army.”
What is so exciting for Castlevania fans is that the new show is made in the same art style. The show will definitely draw in all sorts of fans from Castlevania fans, Greek Mythology fans, Anime fans, and many more. If you’re a fan in any of these categories or want something new, give this a shot!
