Mike White: A breakout star… or bust?

New York Jets backup QB Mike White has made noise around the NFL following a stunning week-8 34-31 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
After rookie, and QB1 Zach Wilson suffered a PCL injury in a devastating 54-13 loss against the New England Patriots, Mike White stepped up and carved through the Bengals defense like butter. In his first ever NFL start, Mike White put on a show with 37-45 completions for 405-yards, 3 TDs, and just 2 INTs, eyes were immediately locked onto this new QB from all around the league.
White will start in his second ever NFL game on PrimeTime TV facing the 18th ranked Indianapolis defense who has tallied 9 INTs, and has given up just 243.6 passing yards per game. This brings up the hot debate on whether White will be able to produce another break out performance, or break under the pressure of the Thursday night lights.
The Jets take on the Colts this Thursday night at 8:20 PM on FOX and the NFL Network.
