The Quaker Steak and Lube, also referred to as “The Lube”, is a casual dining, automobile-themed restaurant. Co-owners George “Jig” Warren and Gary Meszaros, opened the original Lube in 1974 in Sharon, Pennsylvania as a cook your own steak restaurant/bar in a converted gas station.
In 1976 a full kitchen was added to the Lube and the menu began featuring chicken wings. The Lube soon began to develop its’ own unique wing sauces and now features 16 wing sauces. We are proud to say that our sauces have won many awards in national competitions. We have won dozens of awards, including the “Best Wings in the USA” award at “The National Chicken Out” held in Cleveland, Ohio. Be sure to try some our award winning sauces when eating at the Lube.
