Slay Hair Studio opened on August 11, 2016 in the heart of Downtown Bloomsburg. As the owner, I’m often asked how I chose the name Slay for the studio. Beyoncé is my spirit animal, I listen to her every morning while I get ready for work.
As I was opening the studio, Beyoncé’s song ‘Formation’ was playing on repeat throughout the process. Her music gave me energy. The lyrics “I slay, all day” resonated with me. I want my salon to Slay, all day.
