Mass Communications Students Speak about Paws for a Cause at WHLM Newsradio
Mass Communications students in the Publicity and PR class teamed up with the Danville SPCA and The Students Saving Sheltered Animals (SSSA) organizations to create an on-campus event called “Paws for A Cause.” Bloomsburg University students Samantha Gross, Brittany Thompson and President of the SSSA, Oksana Picca, went to the downtown Bloomsburg radio station, WHLM, to talk about the event.

The event took place on the academic quad on April 10. Students and Faculty came out to buy baked goods, make donations, and see the dogs. Bloomsburg Greek Life had the opportunity to get community service hours for donations. WBUQ, BUnow, the Danville SPCA, and the SSSA sponsored the event.
